Diwali Gift for State Govt Employees – Important Announcement!! On the occasion of Diwali this year, the central government has announced a 4 percent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) of government employees and pensioners. Lakhs of government employees are going to benefit from this DA hike. Following the central government, various state governments are issuing announcements including bonuses and salary increases to their employees.
Along with this, the Bihar state government has issued an important announcement to its employees on the occasion of Diwali. Accordingly, for major festivals like Diwali and Saath, the Bihar state government has announced to send this month’s salary earlier than usual. State Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Chowdhury said that he decided to pay the salary after consulting with the state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Now according to the notification of the state government, the salary will be paid on October 20. It is to be noted that the Bihar government has decided to pay this month’s salary in advance for the happiness of the government employees as the celebrations which were interrupted for the last two years have resumed this year.
