Tomorrow, October 21 is the last date to apply for UCEED/CEED 2023 Exams. Without a late fine that is. In case you can’t register for CEED/UCEED Exam 2023 even today or tomorrow, worry not! You can still apply for these by paying a late fine of Rs 500/- till the 29th of October, 2022.
IIT Mumbai – the authority conducting these exams – is going to close the application/registration window of CEED/UCEED 2023 Exam tomorrow. Interested students, however, can still apply or register by paying extra 500 rupees until 29 October 2022. But why waste money when you can save it by applying early?

Points to know about CEED & UCEED Exams
UCEED exam is conducted to grant admission into Bachelor of Design programs offered by the five participating institutes namely IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur.
For Master of Design programs and PhDs, Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is held by the same authority. These Design courses offer a number of specializations such as Graphic Designing, Multimedia Designing, VFX Designing, Game Designing, Visual Communication, Fashion Designing, Interior Designing, Accessory Designing, Textile Designing, and Jewelry Designing among many others.
Who can Apply for These Exams
For UCEED
Age Limit:
- For General/EWS/OBC-NCL Students: You have to be born on or after October 1, 1998
- For SC/ST/PwD Students: You have to be born on or after October 1, 1993
Maximum Attempts
- You can at maximum appear for CEED Exam twice, that too in consecutive years
Eligibility Criteria
- 10+2 Pass or in the final year of 10+2
Eligibility for CEED 2023
- There is no bar on Age or the number of attempts when it comes to CEED Exams
- Candidates who have completed a degree/diploma programme of a minimum of 3 years (after 10+2 level), or appearing for the final examination of such a programme by July 2023.

- Starting Date to Apply for UCEED/CEED 2023: September 30, 2022
- UCEED/CEED 2023 Registration without the late fee: October 21, 2022
- Registration with the late fee: October 29, 2022
- CEED/UCEED 2023 Admit Card Release Date: January 13, 2023
- UCEED/CEED 2023 Exam Date: January 22, 2023
Application Fees for CEED/UCEED 2023 Exam
- For SC/ST/PwD/Female Students: ₹ 1800
- For other Students: ₹ 3600
How to apply for UCEED 2023
- Visit the official site at https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in/2023/
- Click on the Registration/Log in tab
- Old users can Log in using their previously created credentials; New users must press “Register” and create their account with Email ID and other details, and then Log in
- Now you’ll be directed to the UCEED registration page
- Fill out the UCEED 2023 application form Select the UCEED 2023 test centre
- Upload the required documents in a prescribed format and size
- Pay the UCEED registration fee and submit the application
- Download and take a printout for future requirements
How to apply for CEED 2023
- Click the official website link at ceedapp.iitb.ac.in.
- You’ll be taken to the Online Registration/Login Portal
- Old users must Log in, while the new ones need to Register first and then log in
- You need to provide your email ID and other details to register
- Once logged in, fill out the CEED application form 2023 with details
- Choose the Test Centres you prefer to take the exam in
- Submit the documents in the given formats.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form
- You can download and take a printout of the final confirmation page for future requirements.
