India criticizes Developed Countries for shirking responsibility for climate change

In the LMDC meeting held in Bolivia ahead of the all-important COP27 meeting, India said that expecting all countries to adopt net-zero targets by 2050 is unfair. Fighting Climate Change and shifting to green energy requires a lot of aid from the rich nations, but all they make are commitments they are not serious about keeping. Delayed climate actions and lack of patronization from developed countries increase the cost of mitigation and adaptation of green energy in developing countries.

Just so you know, Rich Countries had committed to giving USD 100 billion per year to developing nations to fight climate change.
COP 27, OR the 27th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt from November 6 to November 18, 2022.
LMDC comprises around 18 developing countries from Asia and other regions. Like-Minded Developing Countries (LMDC)
