Educational Qualification
- Assistant Sub Inspector: Intermediate or 10+2 passed from a recognized school board with 80 words per minute shorthand and 50 minutes of computerized transcription work in English and 65 minutes in Hindi
- Head constable (Ministerial): Intermediate- or 10+2-trained, with computer typing speeds of 35 WPM for English and 30 WPM for Hindi.
Age Limit
On October 25, 2022, the age must be between 18 and 25 years old. There is separate upper age relaxation for each category, ranging from 40 years for general/OBC/EWS departmental students to 45 years for ST/SC departmental students.
