Indo-Tibetan Border Police, ITBP is going to hire 24 candidates for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist). Application Fee
- For General/OBC/EWS Applicants: Rs. 100/-
- For SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female Applicants: Nil
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age Limit: 20 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years
The cut-off date to determine a candidate’s age will be 23 November 2022.
Candidates Should not have been born earlier than 24-11-1994 & Later than 23-11-2002
Age relaxation is Applicable as per the rules.
Pay Scale/Salary
- Rs. 29,200 – 92,300 (as per 7th CPC)
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have cleared the 10+2 Exam (Physics, Chemistry and Biology As Subjects)
- Must have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent
- Must be registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Selection Process
There are 5 successive rounds of the selection process. Candidates have to clear all the rounds to get the job.
- Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Standard Test
- Written Test: 2 hrs objective type MCQ test carrying 100 marks
The minimum cut-off mark for qualifying the written test is 35% for General/EWS category and 33% for other categories.
- Document Verification:
- Practical Exam of 100 marks:
Viva Voce (40 marks) + Instrument Identification (30 marks) + Procedures (30 marks)
50% marks needed to qualify the Practical Exam
A provisional Merit List will now be prepared based on all the above tests
- The final test is a ‘Medical Test’ for candidates
The final Merit List will be prepared after the result of the Medical Test.

- Go either to ‘NEW USER REGISTRATION’ or ‘LOGIN’ tab at the top-right of the homepage.
- New Users must register first and then log in; old users can directly log in using their previously created credentials
- Once logged in, click on the relevant job application link
- Fill out the details as asked and submit
- Pay the Application Fee in whichever online mode you prefer
- Download, and take a printout of the final confirmation page.
