Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2021 : Government of India, Ministry of Defence, ASC Units of 71 Sub Area, HQ Northern Command,  has invited applications for recruitment of Group C Posts such as Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), Vehicle Mechanic, Fireman, Labourer and Carpenter. The eligible candidates can apply for the post by Offline mode (By Post) from 22.05.2021 to 12.06.2021.

Application Fee

• General / OBC category and other state candidates : Rs. 160.

• No fees for SC / ST category of West Bengal and PWD candidates.

• The fee only through Banks participating in the GRPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System), Govt. of West Bengal at Govt. Receipt Head of Account’

Age Limit

• For Civilian Motor Driver: 18 to 27 years

• For All Other Posts: 18 – 25 years

Vacancy Details & Eligibility

Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade)	27	Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Must possess a Civilian Driving license for heavy vehicles from DTO/RTO and have two years experience of driving such vehicles.
Vehicle Mechanic	01	10th Standard pass from a recognized board. Capable of reading numbers and names of tools and vehicles both in English and Hindi. One year experience of in his trade (Capable of carrying out standard repairs of heavy vehicles).
Fireman	03	10th Standard pass from a recognized board. Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances and equipment, fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches. Must be familiar with the use and maintenance, first-aid, fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump. Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods employed in fighting different types of fire. Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire Service Drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the members of a fire crew. Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness
Labourer	01	10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
Carpenter	01	10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized board. Should have the knowledge of carpentry

How to Apply

• Eligible candidates can submit their application in prescribed format.
• The photograph and photo copy of documents duly self attested should be submitted along with the application.
• Original certificates are not (NOT) to be dispatched with application form, and should be brought in person on the day called for test.
• The Candidates should enclose a Self Addressed Envelope, affixing Postal Stamps of Rs. 45/- alongwith the application required for dispatch of Acknowledgement / Admit Card.
