Indian Oil Corporation Limited – a Fortune “Global 500” Company – is going to hire 265 Non-Technical Trade Apprentices for states in South India (Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana). Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
The cut-off date to determine the applicant’s age is 31 October 2022.
Upper Age Limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10-15 years for various caste categories PwBD applicants.
Period of Apprenticeship:

Eligibility Criteria:
Trade Apprentice (Accounts Executive)/Graduate Apprentice –
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized Institute/University.

Selection Process
You’ll be selected based on the Written Test performance. The exam will be an objective-type MCQ test. Be mindful that the round of selection will be different for different disciplines. The details are below:
Trade Apprentice (Accounts Executive)/Graduate Apprentice:
- Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Abilities
- Basic English Language Skills
Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator):
- Generic Aptitude and Reasoning
- General English
- Numerical Aptitude
- General Knowledge/Awareness
Trade Apprentice (Retail Sales Associate):
- Generic Aptitude
- Reasoning Abilities
- Basic English
Applicants will have to qualify each round of the selection process. Written Test (Minimum 40%, relaxable by 5% for candidates from SC/ST/PwBD categories against reserved positions) and Pre-engagement medical fitness for being adjudged suitable for
engagement.
Date and Venue of the Written Exam:
- Written Test will be conducted at Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, and Bangalore on 27th November 2022 (Sunday).
- Details of the date and venue will be informed in the admit card later.
- Admit Cards will be uploaded on the official portal and intimation will be sent to applicants on their registered Email ID/Mobile.
- The tentative date for upload of provisionally qualified candidates for document verification is 9th December 2022.
